Choi Xooang*

"Ω αλάνθαστο σώμα 

πόσα και πόσα λάθη 

μ' ένα μικρό διαβατικό φεγγάρι 

στα γυμνά δέντρα του πεζοδρομίου 

αδειούχοι στρατιώτες καπνίζουν 

κάτω απ' το υπόστεγο βρέχει 

όλη μέρα ακούω το νερό να κυλάει ατέλειωτο 

απ' τα λούκια στο δρόμο 

παρότι το ξέρω 

αυτό το εισιτήριο 

είναι εκπρόθεσμο πιά".

* Born in 1975, Choi received his M.A. in Sculpture from Seoul National University in 2005. 

His artworks are exhibited in the Seoul Museum of Art and National Museum of Contemporary Art. 

Besides participating in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Seoul, 

his works were also shown in Beijing, Singapore, and Paris. 

The artist lives and works in Seoul.
